Hello everyone,

My name is Chinyere Oje, a 45-year-old entrepreneur from Cross River State, Nigeria. I’m a graduate of Hospitality and Tourism Management (Imo State University) with an MBA from the University of Calabar. I started a small foodstuff and grocery store to make quality and affordable food available to families in my community.

 

Despite strong customer demand, limited funds have made it difficult to keep the store fully stocked and properly equipped. I’m seeking support to expand my store, improve storage and display facilities, and create at least one local job.

🌾 My Dream to Build a Thriving Foodstuff & Grocery Store

Hello everyone,

My name is Ebri Oje, and I’m from Cross River State, Nigeria. I’m reaching out with a humble heart and strong determination to ask for your support in building a sustainable foodstuff and grocery business that will serve my community and create opportunities for others.

 

💡 The Vision

 

Growing up in a community where access to affordable and quality food items is sometimes difficult, I’ve always dreamt of owning a foodstuff and grocery store that bridges that gap. My goal is to establish a well-structured store that provides fresh, quality food products—such as rice, beans, garri, oil, grains, and household essentials—at fair prices to families in my area.

 

🌱 The Challenge

 

I started this business with personal savings and small local support, but the store has struggled to grow due to limited funds. Prices of goods have risen sharply, and I’ve often had to reduce stock or turn customers away because I couldn’t afford to restock on time. I’ve seen the potential — customers trust me, and demand keeps increasing — but without adequate capital, progress has been painfully slow.

 

💪 The Purpose of This Fundraiser

 

I am seeking to raise ₦2,000,000 – ₦3,000,000 to:

 

  1. Expand my stock of food items and groceries to meet customer demand.

 

 

  1. Improve storage and display facilities (e.g., shelves, refrigerator, packaging materials).

 

 

  1. Set up a small delivery system for customers who cannot easily visit the store.

 

 

  1. Employ at least one helper, creating a small but meaningful job opportunity.
